Lately I have problems with the connection (i.e. it�s gonne, actually) when a model switches back from for example "group" to open chat. And not only the connection to this room is then lost, but to login into other rooms is not possible as well, so that I have to restart Firefox completely.

It doesn�t occur using Chrome.

Since I rather prefer Firefox, what to do?

Did you try updating flash player and disabling flash players protected mode as I mentioned in the previous post you had a problem mate ?

...I have a similar problem when group chat ends, my screen gets frozen yet I can still hear the model talking. I find that refreshing takes care of the problem. It doesn't happen everytime so I'm not sure what triggers the freeze. I run IE. It doesn't really bother me!!!

I�ve got Flash 11.3.300.262. Is that the latest version?

I�m kind of hesitant to get into the procedures of disabling the protected mode, though.

Yes thats the latest flash player plugin for firefox.

Disabling protected mode is very easy actually. Maybe worth a try to see if it helps, you can easily undo it and have it back to normal.

Adobes way to do it:-

Copied the important bits from Adobe link that you need.

Finally, if these problems are blocking you from using Flash Player we recommend, as a last resort, you either revert back to Flash Player 11.2 or temporarily disable Protected Mode. We strongly recommend that Protected Mode is manually enabled once this issue is resolved.

To revert to a previous version of Flash Player, please see this FAQ: How do I revert to a previous version of Flash Player?

To disable Protected Mode, add the following line to your mms.cfg file located in:

Windows 32bit: C:windowssystem32macromedflash

Windows 64bit: C:windowssyswow64macromedflash

ProtectedMode=0

If the mms.cfg file does not exist, create one using any standard text editor (e.g.. notepad)

Depending on your operating system, you might need to first save the mms.cfg file to a writable location (such as your documents or desktop folder) and then copy the file into the destination folder using Windows Explorer.

To re-enable Protected Mode, simply remove the line from the mms.cfg file.

LOL naa will be fine really, you can't break anything playing with the flash player configuration file (mms.cfg), you need to know the correct commands to blow up flash player (it manages to self destruct all by itself normally anyway as you know :helpme

)). Just take a backup of the mms.cfg file before you alter it so you can always just restore it by copying it back to the folder.

Also you can uninstall it and reinstall and will bring it right back to normal. :winkwink

All you need to do then is copy the one from C:windows syswow64 macromedflash into C:windows system32 macromedflash

Just remove everything in that file after copying it to C:windows system32 macromedflash and leave only the line ProtectedMode=0, the one in the C:windows syswow64 macromedflash will have 2 other lines aswell as ProtectedMode=0.

just copy the file to the desktop edit it then copy it from the desktop to the place you want, it's an admin rights issue I guess stopping you.

Yes the one in the C: Windows System32 Macromed Flash should only have the one line that is

ProtectedMode=0

and the one in C: Windows SysWOW64 Macromed Flash will have 3 lines

AutoUpdateDisable=1
SilentAutoUpdateEnable=0
ProtectedMode=0
