Have you set the Flash settings to the correct mic and made sure the performer application has the correct mic in the audio hardware too and is set to broadcast audio in open room ?
If you don't know how to adjust the audio in flash all you need to do is open the performer app and right click the preview window you see of yourself or in any room if you are also on the site as a customer and do this :-
1- On any flash object (eg the flash video preview of yourself or any flash video or chat) right click with the mouse (or on the Mac "hold down the 'control' key and click") and select "settings".
2- Move to the audio tab in the flash player settings and select the correct audio device you use and when you select it do a test and speak you should see a coloured bar move up and down registering the audio is coming into the system, if the bar does not move and you are 100% sure you selected the right audio device then raise the record volume to the right hand side so it is at maximum and test again.
3- Once you have made sure the audio is working there close the flash player settings and make sure in the performer application audio is set to on and then log out of the performer application and login again.
4- Hopefully it should work at this point if not shout again here or contact the site direct and they can work you threw it, you can also contact an online tech/admin 24/7 while on the performer application with the "ALERT" button and they can work you threw setting it up correctly.
Another thing to check is that you have setup the Flash Media Live Encoder correctly too, there is a audio setting there too so make sure the correct mic is selected and you have enabled audio there too.
Make sure the audio/video capture device is working and is properly connected to the system/capture card.
On the right side of the Flash Media Live Encoder interface, next to Preview, verify that the Input Video, Output Video, and Audio checkboxes are selected.
Check for any error messages on the Encoding Log tab.
Try using a different Audio or Video device (depending which one is causing you the problem, in your case it is the Audio).
Update the drivers of the device causing you the problem.
**Remember if you make any changes to the Flash media encoder you will need to log out of the performer application and login again for the new settings to take.**
