this is hard to do without (ranting)

so... I'll keep it to a technical problem I noted in some early hour of this morning.

in the FMAIL compose and send routines, I had a composed mail rejected for the occurance of a string of characters which occured in no place in the message text. "mi'nor" without the appostrophy obviously, was reported as a forbidden word.

I searched the text several times, even pulled a copy and put it into Word to see if I could 'find' the error reported character string. Nope, no finds.

I DID however, use the cyrillic version of a model's name in the text. Thinking that that 'might' be the actual error that was occuring, I replaced that with the anglisized version of her name. Still got the error.

I'm not sure what triggered the original error, I'm assuming it was the cyrillic, I've seen how poorly the forum software handles that, and how impossible it is to remove and replace cyrillic with 'phonetic' russian there. The error then would be, in the editor not being able to remove graphical characters in order to clear the issues.

Otherwise I do not know wtf is happening now that the insideous censor is f'ing everywhere.

Perhaps John can tell us why words like k!dnap, m!nor, r@pe, and y0ung need to be censored

Or, for that matter, why any words need to be censored in the forums

Censor is too crazy .
It even censors names of models with Y0ung in it .
It censors emails . It censors the forum .
It makes this site more user NON friendly :twocents

john, without going into all of the resentment that having a censor is obviously raising, again
read my f'ing post i cannot write in THIS part of VS the Cyrillic characters of the models name. the forum software will simply return a group of meaningless character values in the display of it.... *sigh* if you people would just READ what is SAID to you... there is a BUG in the CENSOR error handling routines.. ONCE some error is triggered a GENERIC message is issued that flags the email and the ERROR is not CLEARED when alterations are made to the message. omg.. BESIDES which.. just LOOK what YOU did.. if i type a censored word with commas, or dashes or replace characters with 1's or !'s or 0's it PASSES the censor software.. JEESH, you have just proven the point of people who resent having to hack verbage to workaround the damn thing..... what is the POINT of having a CENSOR who is STUPID enough to allow 'y0ung b0ys butts'? oh i see.. it's a make work project for Hector's group.. they just keep adding stupid revisions to the censor database.. for fucks sake.. i have, in almost all of my time here, and elsewhere, only seen idiots ranting about und'er'age bullshit in the chat box in ROOMS.. and i've had TONS of 'daddy' usernames blah blah blah their credits in shows wanting their little penises jerked by some f'ing dollb'aby sh1t this stuff is so HOPELESS

Amanda, it's a bit of a stretch expecting ANY Customer Support Department to actually read a Customer's post. In my experience it's standard Customer Support protocol to assume the customer is incorrect / mistaken / stupid and to give a generic response suggesting that you have created the problem yourself

I doubt that John is continuing to monitor this thread - in his eyes there is no problem because it's you who has made the error
