I also didn't see any cameras that looked like my builtin macbook pro one, so i decided to try switching to firefox. I switched to firefox and this time Built-in iSight was a camera option. Unfortunately, I was getting the same two errors, so I updated my version of Flash. Now Built-in iSight isn't an option any more and I'm getting the exact same issues. :-( halp! Quote

Hey, I have a macbook pro for one I suggest using safari to broadcast with it. But my real suggestion is to download adobe flash media encoder on your mac because you can kick your built in cam to broadcast in HD that way. Still use Safari for the chat though it works the best. I read your problems with the video and the iSight on the MacBook Pro is not all that good and there has been problems with video streaming. What OS X version are you running Snow Leopard or Lion? Also are you also opening photo booth and changing the settings in the tool bar (Camera). You do have to switch it from the iSight to your default web cam.

One more thing there are very few web cams that work with Mac so you have to be careful on which one you buy. I recommend the Logitech HD Pro Webcam C910. It's a great webcam for $99.00.

The other thing that also helps is Flip4Mac if you don't have it Installed. And always make sure you have enough broadband speed since video takes a lot. You can check your upload and download speed at: speakeasy.net/speedtest Also make sure you have enough memory, I recommend 6GB and no less than 4 GB with the MacBook Pro.
