There is a brand new russian model named Brait who is clearly one of the best looking models on the site. Phil-USA likes him and reviewed him. If Phil likes someone, you can be confident that they are good.
However, he is getting almost no privates at all. He sits there patiently for hours and nothing. I would like to know why.

I have a few theories:
- I have noticed a few people attempt to take him private - but the screen turns completely black with no curtains and he is soon back to the open chatroom
- his video often freezes spontaneously, requiring a page refresh
- his profile has no VODs, no Blog, no Wishlist, only 2 reviews, and no photos with sexy poses.
- he can't do parties to draw people to his room because he hasn't been on the site long enough

Clearly he should be MUCH more successful than he is. There are models who are not nearly as good looking nor friendly who have much better success.

The difference could be the absence of any VODs. Some studios choose not to participate in VODs. I understand and agree with the reasons a model and studio would not participate in the VODs, but if other models and studios ARE participating, then those that don't participate are handicapped by being overlooked.

I am reluctant to post this message, but I am hoping that whatever problem there is can be identified and fixed before he gives up on working here.

again you post something in the tech section of the forum THAT ISN'T A TECH QUESTION!!!!!!!!!!my favorite model has all those things you mention and she has the same thing.some days are good some bad.thats the nature of the beast.my guess is money is hard to come by for most people to spare for this type of fun.i'm having such a problem.so thats my guess. :twocents

PiersMorgan - I appreciated your calm and rational response to my request for restraint in another of your topics, and hoped that you would only post now on Technical Support issues or other support issues if they were important enough. This is the 19th topic you have introduced here in the last few weeks!

Dealing with the point you raise here, there are lots of models who are all doing better or worse than we might expect. We all have different opinions. We shouldn't waste other people's time with these personal preferences. The number of posts would be endless.

There are other options rather than creating new topics in the Technical Support forum. You could make your suggestions direct to the model in free chat, or send him a message. (You could suggest that he changes his awful bio pic. I was going to do that myself a couple of days ago). Do some private shows yourself with the model if you think he is so cute and deserves more support. Add a post in the Gay fantasy forum to say how much you like him. I don't think he would mind.

I think that if you don't now show some restraint in creating new topics here, it is possible that all your topics might be removed at a stroke. That could happen anyway if VS apply the current forum rules strictly. Do please try and show some restraint from now on.

All models get the success they deserve, given time and perseverance

As you yourself said, he is a brand new model. He has worked only one or two shifts. Of course he has no VODs yet, no wishlist and "only 2" reviews. All models start with no VODs, no blogs, no wishlist and no reviews, and few are instantly successful

Yes you're right, paperpunch. (I do not like Brait's bio pic. He even has "chubby guys" in his tag. Despite that he is still doing well).

I was going to qualify my previous post by saying firstly that it is commendable that PiersMorgan is concerned about a particular model's success. However, no apparent cause for concern now.

I also wanted to say that I have a long list of models who I think could do better (or have now gone but could have done better). Many of them with poor picture quality. Others with bad bio pics. Others who don't say in their bio what they can do (and don't have VODs to show what they could do). Others who are not showing themselves off to advantage in their free chat (fully clothed all the time, or head and shoulders only). Others who only work at certain times of the day and only reach one part of their worldwide market ....etc etc

I have made suggestions direct to a number of models. (Some changed their bio pics immediately and are still using the ones which I liked. Some have better lighting and better picture quality. One model moved to a different room, and had more success, after I made the suggestion to him. Some changed their bios. Some models with large cocks had 1cm or 5cm listed as their cock size. I pointed out that if users are doing a search for large cocks they would never find them. They changed their bio after that).

I do not propose to raise a separate topic for each model on my list. And that is just my list. I hope that makes my previous comments sound more reasonable.

He is indeed in the top 20. But not because he got a pile of credits. How the top 20 is determined is mysterious. He is extremely handsome. However, he has had virtually no privates. It seemed like everytime someone attempted to go private with him, his room would crash and the screen would go black with no curtains for a minute and he would be back.

If that isn't a valid technical support topic, I don't know what is. The site lost a big chunk of money, the model lost a big chunk of money, and worst of all, the site might have lost a great model permanently.

Models DO come and go.. but Brait should have had people lining up to go private with him.

How many times does a models video have to freeze or room go completely black? He was very eager to entertain, but it didn't work out at all. I hope he gives it another shot.

PiersMorgan - this is one of the many incorrect statements your make in your posts in this forum and others.

I have done a little research by looking at the model's bio page and related links. You are shown (under your TOMCRUISE name) as no 8 on Brait's top ten fans list. As you are not on the list of tippers, that means you did a private show with him. There are 7 names higher than you on the list, which means another 7 private shows.

Brait has therefore done at least 8 private shows in the 3 days he has been here. In one show he received 400 in tips. No wonder he is in the top 20, as paperpunch pointed out.

Your concern for a struggling model turned out to be totally unfounded.

As for video problems being a legitimate technical support issue, that would be true if the model could not handle them for himself. He seems to work for a studio, who can help him, and models also have direct support from VS. If the difficulties were really serious it would be for the model to raise the issue himself - not you.

This whole topic has been a waste of everybody's time, and it is one of many.

Thanks, ourjeffie. I had forgotten that you get 60 points for sitting in a room continuously for an hour, and PiersMorgan has no doubt been doing that. I saw that he was a non-tipper who was higher in the top ten list than people giving 50 tips. That is why I had assumed that he had done a private show. That may still be the case. Anyway there is enough info on the bio page to confirm that Brait did at least 7 private shows in his first 3 days, which is a great start, and makes this "tragedy that is a mystery" thread unnecessary.
