Seriously. Are you really carrying on this crusade because they used the term "standard" instead of "daylight"? Good lord. This definitely falls into the category of "If this is the worst thing that happens in your life...."
Perhaps if you UNDERSTOOD the words, youwould know WHY it makes a difference.
Most of the US follows Daylight Savings Time this time of year. That includes New York, which is the location on which F4F bases its schedules.
But most countries (Including Colombia, where there are lots of webmodels here), and even some states in the US, DO NOT follow DST, and remain on "Standard Time" year round. As such, they remain an hour BEHIND DST. So if I am looking to see a show at 9am EDSRT, but arrive at 9 EST, I have just missed it.
It is a simple matter to use the correct terminology, so people know what the heck time you mean. The first response I got here said F4F uses EST, which is simply WRONG. Not a conspiracy, but an incorrect answer by someone who should be more careful not to give misinformation.
