I don't think it's a secret that from time to time things break. F4F is always making updates to the website, and while it can be argued if these " improvements" are necessary, usually one change will result in something that used to work, stops working the way it was intended.
If you just look back in recent weeks we've had notifications stop posting to the bell, the ability to view more VODs from the model's profile page break, the dates of certain videos stop appearing on the preview page disappear, to name a few. Now each of these issues were reported and the tech team has done an excellent job at repairing, kudos to them.
From time to time we will report something and it will just get brushed over with a standard scripted reply and go unfixed until a bigger stink is raised for example Anonymous boosting or when VODs stop showing up in our vault due to a glitch in the system.
My concern are the issues that don't get reported because everyone assumes they are working the way they are supposed to and go unchecked. For example I have a theory that there are a number of basic users that are listed as premium members and enjoy the benefits without ever registering.
Let me explain:. I am frequently in a room with a model that has blocked chat for basic users but every day I see a bunch of level 1-5 in the room begging and disturbing the chat. In the last three days alone we had 3 kids admit they were under 18 in the chat, which she immediately banned, but my point is they shouldn't have been able to get in there in the first place. Now to go from a basic users to a premium all the user must do is add a payment system, once they Add New Payment Account (they) Earn 500 points for adding a new payment account. This 500 points should automatically propel them to a level 5 user, yet they are still only level 1-4. When I ask the model why she is letting basics in she assured me that they are premium. I also recall one time the member stated he was a basic user and she told him no you're a premium. I firmly believe that models are mistakenly being misinformed because something got broke during one of the updates and no one has realized it, as is often the case.
I challenge this premise and believe that something is broken and nobody is aware of it and it goes unchecked.
I'm requesting someone do an audit of a percentage of the newer members ( level 5 and below) and confirm they do in fact have a card registered, because I believe you will find many do not.
I expect if I do get a response at all it will be the standard scripted, we have passed this along and are looking into it, and that will be the end of this thread. But I want to go on record that this concern has been brought up.
