I tried logging on and got nothing for ten minuets. Following that, I got a F4F message saying "Whoops" and citing error 500, a system crash.
I called Customer Service, to find out how long they expected the outage to be. To my surprise, the person i spoke to had NOT been told of any technical issues and, when I insisted, she did try to logon and discovered it for herself.
My point: Shouldn't customer service be advised as soon as any MAJOR tech issue (like system down) happens, so they can advise cutomers who call??? She was embarrassed, and confirmed I had been the only one who reported an outage so far. That was a good 25-30 minutes into it, which is ridiculous.
Fifteen minutes later, I tried again. I could get into the site, but not into any chatroom.
Hey, "stuff happens" ... but communication should be better.
