The video in the room of Cupidonn is messed up.
I think the reason is the background is interfering with the camera's auto calibration.

The video is much too bright, glaring, his skin is as orange as an Oompa Loompa, and the contrast and intensity is way off.

I think the problem is that large patch of white behind him, but it could be that the camera needs replacing. Jack Vorobey sits a few feet away from him and his video is fine.

If customers have a choice between a room that looks like flaring pastel glare with orange skin, and another room with nice beige natural color with proper shading, they are going to ditch the video that is giving them a headache to look at. Quote

I have visited him quite a lot, and agree that the last time I visited the colours were a little bright. Most times the picture quality and colours are excellent. He takes a lot of interest in his HD picture quality and has raised this in his blog. I am sure he can make a quick adjustment. He is a bit fed up at the moment as he was aiming for some sort of 24-hour record yesterday which didn't work out.

I have a recent VOD where he has a map on the wall behind him, and I can easily read the names of the countries. Can't ask for better picture quality than that! (Not that I was that interested in the map, when there were other things to look at). Quote

There was a way that he might have won that contest, he would have definitely been in the top 5, but someone who gave him 7000 credits didn't do it in a way that helped with the contest. That must have been frustrating. Winning contests here is TOUGH. Little Haley came in 2nd place again. He is extremely assertive in working his room, especially during that contest. That guy must have a phd in marketing!

Anyway, Cupidonn's current set with the lavendar flower and white design is a disaster to the video quality. The camera doesn't know how to adjust the colors and light. The camera tries to adjust the levels to "normal" levels you would find in a room. The colors are so vivid and contrasting in that room that the camera doesn't know what to do.
