AS OF THIS DATE, MY VIP ACCOUNT IS NO LONGER ACTIVE, AND I HAVE NO INTENTIONS ON RENEWING IT. I AM ALSO CLOSING OUT MY ACCOUNT ALTOGETHER SINCE YOU'VE SHOWN ME & THE OTHER CUSTOMERS WHO HAVE HAD THE SAME PROBLEM ANY CONCERN IN RESTORING ANY OF THE PVT SHOWS WE HAVE SPENT OUR MONEY ON. YOU COMMENTED IN THE FORUMS SECTION THAT� ONE OF YOUR DEVELOPERS HAS FOUND A WAY TO RESTORE THE DAMAGED CLIPS AND WAS IN THE PROCESS OF DOING SO. I HAVE NOT SEEN MY PVT CLIP SINCE THE LAST WEEK OF DECEMBER AND STILL HAVE SEEN NO PROGRESS. OTHERS HAVE SPENT MONEY ON PVT SHOWS IN SPITE OF THE PROBLEMS THEY'VE BEEN HAVING AND STILL CANNOT ENJOY THEIR OWN SESSIONS. YOU HAVEN'T RESPONDED TO THE MEMBERS SINCE 12 JAN AND IT IS NOW THE 29TH. NOR, DO YOU OFFER ANYONE COMPENSATION FOR WHAT THEY TIME AND MONEY THEY WASTED. YOU ALSO DON'T GO OUT OF YOUR WAY TO WARN ANY NEW POTENTIAL MEMBER OF THE ISSUES YOU'RE HAVING ON YOUR SITE; THAT SAYS ALLOT FOR YOUR CREDIBILITY & INTEGRITY, AND THAT YOU COULD CARE LESS ABOUT SUCKING YOUR MEMBERS DRY. UNLESS I GET SOME INDICATION THAT YOUR SITE HAS GONE THROUGH SOME CHANGES THAT WILL PREVENT THESE ISSUES FROM �REOCCURRING, THERE IS LITTLE CHANCES OF MY RETURNING, IN SPITE OF THE SHOWS THAT I WILL NOT BE ABLE TO VIEW AGAIN.

Still having this problem frequently. My private from last night that is black screened:

It seems to happen frequently with this particular model...is there something that you guys can do? He's my favorite model and that now makes 4 (I think) VOD's in the last month that are black screened. I don't want to stop spending my money on him, but this is getting really frustrating.

(I did a private last night with a different model and that VOD is available).

Customer service was no help. They jsut shrugged it off as a "problem with my computer", even though I can view my old PVT's just fine. They ignored my emails as well so, I canceled my VIP membership but, my ID is still open after I told them to cancel it. You can probably count on not seeing your PVT shows again, as much I hate to tell you. Don't count on their support.

I've found that on this issue, customer service either doesn't respond at all, or responds with a scripted email. It looked like Brad had monitored this thread before and I thought he might see it and be able to help...maybe not...

At any rate, if I can't view VOD's of my privates with my favorite model, I find the VIP membership a bit pointless...

Try them again. I have a Black Screen VOD that still looks broke, but it now works. I was happy because it was a 27min one.

I checked them all before emailing customer service again yesterday...no video and no response.

I had a similar recovery with my lost VOD, but with only partial success. Like you, the VOD still has a black screen with the exception of a small vertical bar in the upper left corner. Clicking on the bar allowed me to access the video, but only the first two and a half minutes of what had been an eleven minute private were present,and the model hadn't even gotten undressed at that point, so for all intents and purposes the VOD is still lost.

i do not know whether this issue has either been seen or raised by anyone else in this thread, somehow i doubt it as all of you seem most eager to share your shows with your friends and the public. many of my older shows here, from march and earlier of this past year, 2011, which i had marked [NOSHARE] now no longer carry that designation, in fact, carry no capability to mark the video either share or no share at all ... anybody care to 'prod' Brand's tender spots regarding this? God knows I have no desire to probe him even with Adam's rather impressive equipment ....

HEY BRAD WTF EH? an explanation would be of help here ...

All of mine have been restored in full, as near as I can tell. In the list, they still appear with a blank screen, but when I click on them, they seem to all there now.

Yes, mine have been restored as well. I wouldn'y have known to check if you hadn't posted that reminder. I had recently renewed my VIP account and had a new pvt show with another client and was able to view that show as well. Now I don't feel as if my money is being waisted. That's all i asked. That and some communication from the host of this site to let me know they're still working on those issues and that they will be fixed. The customer service hotline has allot to learn about how to talk to their customers and not give them the brush off. Nonetheless, I am greatful that my pvt shows have been restored and that they will continue to work on those issues that people are having problems with. THANK YOU!! javascript:insertEmoticon('

Good to see that some progress has been made here. I'm sure I'm not alone in holding back from doing private shows while there is this problem. I have started to see VODs with black thumbnails appear in my favourite model's collection for the first time. Some of them seem to play OK, but look very like the blank VODs that don't play at all. It is very off-putting, and it is not good for the performers and is bad for the image of the site.

It would be good to get the green light from Brad. He promised an update at post #28. VS are now making more of an input to the forums, which is good to see. This was announced in the News and Announcements forum:

As you guys saw earlier in this thread we fixed the major issue with the non-HD recordings; fixing both the thumbnail images and the playback.

Last week, although not announced, we updated the VOD players (both daily VOD, your own shows and the per-minute player) to still work if the thumbnail doesn't exist.

The lingering problem of the missing thumbnails for some HD recordings is still on our list to address. These videos are a different beast from what we fixed before and the ultimate fix is still escaping us despite our best efforts.

Lastly, we've promoted Nubia who many of you know from the forums to oversee the VOD product going forward starting later this month. That doesn't guarantee a quicker fix but our hope is that having someone solely responsible for VOD will ensure a higher quality and more consistent product in the months to come. Unfortunately no matter how hard I try I simply can't be on the forums as much as I'm requested. ;)

Thanks for the response, Brad and glad to see someone assigned to this "fulltime".

I have found with my blank screen VOD's I have to right click the upper left corner and open either in a new tab or new window to play them. Just clicking on them does not allow me to play them, but at least I am able to view them again. Thanks!

Glad to hear the videos are being recovered for you, despite the extra effort made to get the videos to play. We are certainly aware of the issue and are working to try and correct it so that no one experience it going forward.
