This might not be a model search problem, bisport.

If you click on the Bios tab you can then explore the Webcam Directory using the Browse by Name option. The Directory is the master alphabetical list of all the models and their bio pics. I couldn't see Asher Adams in the master list, so I don't think he will appear in any search until he is included there. Perhaps he is very new and hasn't yet made it onto the database.

Ronnie, I agree that it's probably not a model search problem

However a model can't appear online unless he is registered with VS. A bio entry is created as part of the registration process. Asher Adams must have had a bio entry in what you call the "master alphabetical list" to have been able to appear online, which is presumably where bisport found him. It's more likely that the bio entry has been deleted already. Which is not to say it won't be restored at some stage

Whatever the case may be, Ronnie and Jeffie, fact is I was in his room this morning and can get to the bio through my giftlist on the "My Account"-page but not by the usual means i.e. the normal search modi.

I think it's because his bio has been deleted, bisport. I don't think it's a model search problem

You have what WAS his bio, bisport, but it has now been deleted. It's not a model search problem

I suspect that if you delete your temporary files and your temporary Internet files you too will find that the bio has been deleted

I've just checked the latest position, Jeffie, after deleting all temporary Internet files.

Asher Adams does not appear in the Webcam Directory using Browse by Name.

Not surprisingly, Asher Adams does not appear in a standard or advanced search using Asher, Asher Adams or Asher_Adams.

However, bisport's link to Asher Adams' bio page works perfectly well. I have even clicked on the Add to Favourites link and Asher Adams is now shown in my favourites when I click on VIP > Favourites!

The following details are taken from Asher's bio page:

On-line since May 4, 2012

VODs - 7 shows. Only 5 are shown. All recorded "yesterday"

Gifts - 10 tips all dated June 19

Top Gifters

The only thing I will say is that it may not be all that surprising that his online date and his show activity are somewhat far apaert, a lot of models get their account and then start their online activity at a later date.

That's the answer, Ronnie - it's an incomplete bio. As I said back in Post #14, I don't know why, but it seems the search doesn't work if the bio is incomplete. So what you are seeing through bisport's link is only a partial bio which the search function won't find

It's still a mystery to me how it's possible for you and Phil to view the partial bio through bisport's link

It is a bit odd that he has been on-line since May 4, but all his activity was on June 19.

As Phil says, it's not all that odd. The "Online Since" date is not the date a model first appears online, it's the date registration is effected. He could then have all sorts of problems sorting his webcam or whatever before he first appears online

Thats quite right, Phil. I�ve been in serveral rooms where I started chatting when the model suddenly said it�s his first day and I�m caught somehow by surprise, because his bio showed a joining date further in the past; in Ashers case, June 19 was his first day on-line, so he said.

"bio you requested is not available" can also be a country/state block.

I think there are things the studios do as part of setting up a room that makes it look like the model was online for an instant. The model may not even know about it. It is fairly common for the "online since" date to be a little earlier than what the model considers their first day to be.

That may be the case wonderboi, but the model must be registered before the studio can do any testing of the model's name and password, and it's the date of registration which determines the "Online Since" date. And remember not all models are in studios. In particular Asher Adams, whose bio has been the suject of discussion on this page, is most likely not in a studio

It is fairly common for the "online since" date to be a little earlier than what the model considers their first day to be.

I was in Ashers room this morning (about 10:30 am MEST) and I can assure you he is alive, and very much so. He�s not in a studio, but doing it from his home. :thumbsup

It might be due to the fact that he doesn't have the "My appearance" part of his bio filled out.

I found another model who didn't have this section filled out and he didn't show up when I typed his name into the search box. He also didn't show up in the alphabetical listing.

bisport, it's because his bio is now complete :thumbsup

The problem with Asher Adams was in fact not a new problem, it was the same as the one joepeters reported with Christian Conners in Post #12. As I mentioned in Post #14 and again in Post #33, the search doesn't work if the bio is incomplete

When you reported that you could see the bio, and when ronnie-uk and Phil_USA reported that your link to the bio worked, you were all seeing what I call an incomplete bio, i.e. only part of My Details had been filled in and My Appearance was missing altogether. Now that Asher Adams has filled in the missing details the search function can find him

I still can't see his bio because he has Australia blocked, but a friend in the USA has provided me with screen shots at different times which have helped me to understand the problem
