Your original email has been flowing around our tech team for the past few hours trying to figure out the cause and solution. We suspect that your ISP and/or computer firewall is having trouble reaching our video servers. If you know how to do a trace route, please run the following:
tracert 63.218.93.31
When you're not logged into your account we serve the video streams from content delivery networks to handle large load. For everyone logged into their account (and paid shows) we serve the streams directly from our servers. We suspect that something with your ISP and/or your settings is blocking the request to our video servers.

meh @ finger-pointing exercises ... it happens quite frequently on the site, it does not happen consistently with different rooms at the same moment in time (thus eliminating or reducing the triage to arrive at it NOT being the users system) ... it happens far more often than is reported here ... vastly more often to judge by the number of complaints written in free chat in the rooms i squat in waiting to bash some "r u wet bb?" chatter over the head textually.
I can understand the path analysis request from contributors with problems but would suggest Brad that you illustrate that process for the non-nerds in the crowd by providing a small "step-by-step" as a separate fixed post somewhere, perhaps a "Diagnostics to Help Us Solve Your Problems thread nailed to the top?" *shrug*
Brad another small slightly off topic observation; between the late hours EST and the wee tiny "where's the sun coming up" hours of the dark mornings there seems to be only one young woman on the CS desk when I call complaining about how my latest private shows were trashed by the video audio lock up lag thing, or the now new "Are you here? You are off my list, I cannot see a word you are typing! Did you leave? The show didn't end ... your name is gone!" while my credits pour into your pocket problem. The indication that I got from her at oh-dark-thirty this AM was that her partner in crime had stepped away from his seat. *shrug* not sure of the issue there but I do note that they young woman ALWAYS refers reported "hey there's an idiot run amok in so and so's room" and "hey the g'damned video is breaking up in Sara_Lynn's" and other problems with "no one is in tech right now i will refer the problem for them to handle tomorrow. She DID manage to refund a portion of the minutes I lost in the FIRST of two failed shows last night and for that I am grateful AND she is nice on the phone and well mannered and I'm appreciative of that but I'm wondering if that shift, considering customer load, is too lightly manned. *shrug.again*
