I remember when I joined here ages and ages ago now when the forums first got started how fun it kinda was to talk to people outside of the chat rooms.You could get a sense of the members you were talking with in the models rooms by how they interacted on the forums with everyone and when the models would interact in a thread it was also nice to see.

I have watched the steady decline of these public forums into a volatile mixture of jealousy,hatred,slander,drama and just out and out ridiculousness of those writing here in what seems to be just by sheer boredom in their own daily lives.I especially noticed this decline when more of the 'American" models started interacting here,you know the type,the "Jerseylicious" reality tv drama queens and I should know,I am an American and have to put up with these kinds of women all the time lol,but it isn't only that so slow your roll ladies before blasting me on that comment lol.

The biggest problem is there obviously are no moderators that look at the boards, regularly anyways.They rely on people pressing the abuse button but even so some threads remain for days and weeks that should have been kill filed for the greater good of the community.

People are scared to interact on these boards anymore,there are trolls here who seem to love to attack anyone on any subject and I have talked to alot of members and they all say the same thing "No fucking way I am writing anything on those forums".There is bad blood dripping everywhere on these forums not to mention the constant stream of new models posting things like "Hi,I am new,please come fuck me" lol or "Hi,I am on and lonely" lol. I mean lets get real here.Members dont come to the forums to find out who is new and what they are like,they go straight to the room with the picture that seems to turn them on in some way.

As a male member here I dont appreciate seeing the jealousy amongst models,I used to know a guy who ran a strip club and he said once his biggest headache was trying to solve fights and jealous rages between girls and you can see that here also.We come here for fun,not to see a bunch of ridiculous cat fights,if the ladies want to bitch let them do it in their own forum away from our eyes,we dont need it.

As part of VIP I think one of the perks should be that you get to post on a forum thats locked to paying members only like it is now and there should be NO public forums at all.If people want drama and fighting then make a chat room lobby and they can fight there lol.Ok maybe thats not a good idea..lol.

Another reason to remove them is that all this jealousy/hatred etc etc spills into girls rooms as well creating a bad atmosphere as models and members duke it out to prove a point that usually has no point,it all adds up to lost revenue as potential customers leave to avoid the drama fest to spend their money elsewhere.

The forums also used to be a fun place to simply give some attention to a favorite model and even that got out of control as we all saw and created bad blood.Any way you look at it,lately it seems the public forums are something that are just no longer needed, much like group chat and other things that are going the way of the dodo bird.

If the public forums are not going to be moderated closer then shut them down and lets get back to remembering why we come here in the first place,for fun and adult entertainment.Lets leave the drama for American television

I don't think the forums should be removed, however.
Many technical issues have been identified and resolved here.
There are many agnst that can be aired out here, where it will not disupt the flow of chat. I have learned alot from members and sometimes the staff pointed out many things that actualy kept me here. Without the forums I would have left to the competion long ago.

The `bad blood` started when competition on many levels was foisted on the site. The so called hidden `game`, I think, is what exacerbated the ill will. I think there is a fondamental flaw in the sites philosophy. Motivation is not brought by competion. It always was incentive that makes us move. The sport of getting the most points has a built in incentive to score favor perhaps, but I think it will be a short lived attraction. I still wonder about the stats on that.

The site seems to be evolving, so I`m keeping my fingers crossed. I am also learning to avoid the rooms that are more volatile than others.
We don`t seem to know much about the models, yet the models seem to know way too much about us.
Wish I could identify the models studios by some kind of symbol. I will reward those studios who run things more fairly. Quote

First thought: Having different opinion as you and expressing it is not attacking - it's the way democracy runs.

I don't see anything bad in new models advertising themself - more than that it was one of the basic ideas of the forums when they were created.
Same is with topics where members write why a special model is their favorite. Having a forum where you can write why Model BB is your fav is the difference to many other likely sites.
But please: If you don't have anything good to say - say nothing as it will lead to a fight between fan blocks. Everybodies taste is different - and a certain respect towards others should be shown - finally you have to be adult to visit this Flirt - it's no shame to act like an adult person.
I would wish that VS would react faster on "abuse reports" - many unnecessary dramas would be nipped in the bud.
I also don't think that closing the forums for "public viewing" is a good idea - non paying members can't answer - so they also can't start rants.
Last point I disagree with you is leaving the drama for "American" television. As not american I would lose my so loved TV drama - shows. So lets leave the drama for television in general

PaulieX - I think you are perfectly entitled to use a public forum to suggest that there should not be any public forums. Not sure that you don't undermine your own case.

This particular forum has been a bit unpleasant in the last few weeks. One individual raised 19 new topics here (using a variety of different names). Many of them met with the response: "This is not a technical support topic". Some topics were just trivial. He persisted, and members got annoyed. Pleased to say he is not posting any more.

There is a suggestion that there should be a new Open Chat forum, so that this particular forum can be used exclusively for Technical Support issues or other requests for help or advice. I am not a betting man (well I am actually) but my bet is that we will have more forums rather than less.

VS do monitor the chat threads, and I have seen quite a number of posts "removed by administrator". I have also seen entire threads removed.

Sorry that there seems to be a lot of unpleasantness in the Female Performer Chat forum. The General Discussions (VIP) forum is pretty positive and achieves results, but is not always sweetness and light. Things are generally pretty positive in the Male Performer Chat forum, as Phil-USA pointed out.

You made several excellent points Paulie, I editted it down a bit. I encourage other people to read Paulie's post that is the start of this thread.

The Forums have pretty much been shut down about a month ago. Only members who have made a purchase can post, and many people can't even VIEW the forums.
It is no coincidence that the female rooms suffer much more abuse when you consider that the biggest forum abuser is a lady that spends most of her time on the girl's side (thank god for that!)
Also, you might notice that if about 6 people in the forums did not post, there would be almost no activity in the forums at all! I have gotten some very useful information from Phil and Ronnie and Jeffie but there is one completely worthless member and not enough other people participating in the forums to make them very useful or effective.
It is a shame that the new members who NEED technical support can't get into the forum and ask questions. That would reduce the workload on the Customer Support people. I spent an hour tonight explaining to a gray how to successfully register their account and make purchases. This site's security is very tight and it turns out that he is in Florida, has Florida IP address, but his credit card has a billing address of New Jersey - which is where he lives most of the time - so he could NOT get an account here until I straightened it out between him and CS. I deserve a cookie! : )
On the other hand, I wonder just how many members that mega grouch abusive member has chased away from the site with her non-stop vitriol and venom. That member reminds me of a person who rents a hotel room for $200 and does $2000 in damage to it. Quote

You should realise reginald, that it was because of people like you who were creating multiple accounts and using multiple nicknames to make dozens of annoying posts , that the VS team decided to block basic members from posting.

Occasionally a VS_Tech will chime in, but for the most part, much like the rooms, the questions that are asked here are repeated over and over and over again, and pretty much if you ask a wtfheadscratcher question, you're gonna get a wise-ass answer from one of the (6 you say?) posters that post in the forums. It also says loud and f'n clear to not use the tech help forum to discuss billing questions, and VS makes their contact info readily available for anyone who has such questions. Quote
