Technical Support: No more Model of the Week?

Noticed flirt hasn't announced any model of the week the last 2 weeks or feature shows for that matter.

I'm not VIP but just curious why no announcement was made.

Any ideas?

This has happened before. The site then makes up by loading up a week with features two or three evenings in a row. This was recently done but I don't remember when exactly.

I just noticed something. If you look at the Top 20 models, nearly all of them seem to be U.S. models. There are quite a few great looking Russians and Columbians. In fact, there are very few U.S. models compared to the large number of non-americans.

I can think of only one reason for this.. the U.S. models have better English communication skills. The Russian and Columbian models might take notice of that and work on their English.

lol. said like a true american. they don't call it the WORLD wide web for nothin'. perhaps you could work on your colombian or russian? anyway there is euro and latina plenty models have command fine of engrish language BB.

Top 20 has got very little to do with MOTW anyway. It's not a viewer-selected thing. It's a random draw that occurs like 6 weeks in advance and requires models hit certain criteria in hours worked (as well as credits earned and not having earned the dubious honor in a set time frame prior i think, an english speaking model can help you better understand this)

And with Smash's reply the thread goes ugly. I resent the slam on Americans. Were you singling out the USA or did you mean to include Canadians, Mexicans, Brazilians, Columbians and all others from Central and South America because they are American too? FYI, I'm from the US and my city boasts good sized latino, Russian, Korean, Chinese, Indonesian, Ethiopian as well as other communities.

As a point of commerce english is considered the international language of business. From that stand point I find nothing wrong with what kirk said. However, with that now said I see nothing wrong with indivduals expanding and learning new languages. For instance I am trying to learn some my favorite's native slovak.

Thanks for the clarification smash because the first sentence from your previous post seemed a bit slammish, my apologies.
One thing I like about the site is meeting someone from around the world who I wouldn't have if not for here. I admire those fluent in multiple languages and enjoy trying to learn another language to help bridge the communication gap with the one I have privates.

I have seen models that could barely communicate in english become FLUENT in English here. At the moment, English is the language that needs to be learned if one is to maximize their success. I think that will change in the future though.
I used to have a very successful online software business that sold worldwide. I would say that roughly 85% of my sales were from english speaking people, 8% french (from Canada mostly), and 7% spanish. One reason for that is because other than Turkey, the continent of Africa has no credit cards, neither does most of Asia. Russia has some, but it isn't easy to get. In the U.S. everyone and their pet dog has credit or debit card.

I am trying hard to learn some Russian and the Cyrillic alphabet so I can help translate Russian.

The thread started out as MOTW, but KirkCameron (alias PiersMorgan, TOMCRUISE, Sudoku and others) then introduced the topic of Top 20.

Always grateful when models provide info that all members/users might not be aware of.

That is an honest admission! Your english seems fine though.

I am working on learning how to convert cyrillic text and translate Russian. That is not easy. I don't speak spanish / portugeuse but I can usually figure out what they are talking about if it is written down.

In the Russian models' applications to work here, it actually says one benefit of working here is to improve their english skills! I used to tease models on other sites that they were actually taking nude typing classes! Before home computers, very few people typed. Now, kids type before they learn how to write!
