There is no point to my checking dates on other deals, as I agree they are likely going away the day BEFORE the "expires on" date. My argument was never that this wasn't happening here on F4F, just that it is WRONG to happen, since the prevailing convention on ANY kind of deal, offer or coupon I have ever seen, makes it clear that an offer that "expires on 10/3" is STILL VALID for that entire last day, and goes away when the NEXT day begins.
Contrary to what another user posted, there is no "USA" rule or standard practice of making such offers expire before the "expires ON" date begins. I checked over 20 different websites, and all agree that the offer should still be good. If whomever programmed this on F4F thought otherwise, they are simply wrong, and this should be corrected.
The first admin that answered here got confused and never came back. I have now spoken to two other customer service people, and both agree the offer SHOULD have remained in effect that final day.
And I agree, this has gone on WAY too long ... and I blame F4F ... NOT for the initial error, but for not clarifying this through 21 previous replies! I will no longer comment on it.
