since last night i had problems logging into more than one room for a considerable length of time, this isnt a major problem but means i have to chat to all my lovelies one at a time. I noticed that if I have a room open and say wonder off and read my email or something, come back 5mins later i would have a problem with chatting in room and eventually will be booted to the main page. Can anyone shed any light on this.. only thing is I did update my flash last night to 10.2 so I wonder if there is some compactibility issue or something
Hi Pav, im not seeing this problem..I'm normally in lets say a lot of rooms when online all at once and even when you mentioned this I tested it and seems I can chat and watch all rooms I have open at the same time.. Lets say I have more then 20+ rooms open normally at once and have no problems. It could be your browser cache and flash cache that needs clearing, make sure to clear all cookies too. I'm using latest Firefox and latest flash player. The other reason you maybe having this problem is when if you have more then one room open sometimes when a room closes you may find it falls into a room you have already open and can cause an error message or maybe in your case stop you typing in that room, so make sure the room is only open once. Other reason it can happen is your internet is not upto the job of opening many rooms or your computer.
If you have managed in the past to open many rooms and they worked well without error, ask yourself what have you changed recently were you on a wired ethernet connection before and then converted to wireless internet ? OR have you always been on wireless and you have recently maybe added new hardware be it a tv, landline cordless phone, microwave ... etc that can mess up a wireless signal, or even people next door may have recently got wireless and using the same channel to send their wireless internet as you and has caused your wireless to slow down or cause errors. These are the sort of things I would check 1st..
If no luck mate ... let me know how you are connected to the net and what pc you are using and spec, also add the operating system and browser and flash version you are using. Maybe can help you sort it out.
Regards
Nabil
