A question: over the past couple of days I have received messages from models, but I had to log into the site to even know I had messages waiting. Will the "New Message Notifications" no longer be sent out or is this part of the upgrades that is not yet complete?

What about when you get a new gift from a model??
In the old system you would get a new message when a model sent you a gift along with email??

Haven't received any gifts of late, but I have been receiving notifications that the models I follow are online. All the boxes on the Subscriptions pages are checked, the page says "Yes" and the e-mail addresses are up-to-date.

I've received a couple of model e-mails (those mass e-mailers), promotion and discount e-mails, and Customer VOD notifications, but the last New Message Notification I received was on July 5. I've had other messages from the 11th on, but no notifications were received. It seems the only part of this that has been affected is the actual messages sent through the site between members and models.

The "thank you for your show" messages don't generate notification emails, btw. What kind of messages are you not getting notifications for?

The standard "New Message Notification" e-mails when a model has actually sent me a regular message. The ones that go "You have received a new message from (fill in model's name)."

I e-mailed customer service and they said they reset my subscriptions, so hopefully that will take care of it. If not...oh, well.

zyxwv098, I don't receive a lot of messages from models these days, but I can't recall the last time I saw a "You have received a new message from (fill in model's name)" email

Maybe none of us is receiving these emails now. Can someone confirm that they are still receiving them?

Hi,

The new message notifications were turned off while we were doing the import of all of the messages from the old messaging system to the new one. They have been turned back on and you should start receiving them again. Please let me know if you have any problems.

Yes, we have turned that back on. You should now receive a message in your inbox when a model sends you a gift. Please let me know if you have any problems.
