I think there are some guys that are on the other end of the spectrum compared to the instant-greeters and whisperers. By that I mean they mostly ignore people they don't know if a tip isn't included. I've seen this in many rooms, even here and there in some of my faves' rooms. I don't doubt your guess at what some guys are doing, but I think some guys that have been online for awhile are jaded when it comes to being friendly to every Joe that enters the room and says hi. I definitely would be that guy!

With the number of people that pass in and out of rooms, it must get old greeting and answering the questions of every stranger. My practice is to enter their room, immediately read their bio, observe for a few minutes if they've kept my interest so for, then start conversation based on something in bio. I haven't had anyone ignore me yet.....

I'm more annoyed with the opposite. I cannot enter a room without immediately being whispered to. I don't feel like I should have to hide my badge in order to move between rooms. That's just my own personal thing, and I understand entirely why it happens, but sometimes I just want to fade into the background while I decide where I'm gonna go with that person. I don't know how, maybe just their personalities or experience or a combination of both, but I've found that top guys and girls don't have the same issues that we see in these forums. They know when to whisper. They know how often to greet. They do all the right things to make the majority comfortable. I was so relieved when I entered a room yesterday and the model let me hang out for a few minutes before whispering hello. I went way longer than I meant to but. So there's my 50 cents, I guess!!
