I see...so all the members and models who remember when the site restricted full nudity to shows and party chats, who remember when party chat was restricted to only registered members, and who wish the site had continued to enforce these restrictions (for better or for worse)...we are all control freaks who should mind our own business and should not comment on what we see as being unhelpful "improvements" to the site, as being hindrances and problems to the models we visit and are friendly with and care about, and are dissatisfying to us as individuals.
Yes, I do indeed understand now.
Sort of Yes. Sort of No.
YES please comment.
NO don't be overbearing about it.
1. Flirt is THE #1 Cam site on the internet. They changed and adapted based on data. They aren't lagging into obscurity. They are huge and growing. This due to the changes they made, not despite the changes.
These are NOT unhelpful improvements. The changes work despite your preferences. Your preferences make up a small contingent which the site is willing to lose to garner a larger audience.
2. Since the site is more profitable, models who have "been around" who aren't adapting to the new ways need to adapt. This is capitalism. It's adapt or die on here.
We've discussed how models look mopey and disengaged. We've discussed how many are unfamiliar with the tools and how to strategize around the tools with good audience engagement. It's their own fault.
3. You're complaining. You're not making recommendations. Perhaps there's another niche or market aspect which could be better played to. Sure! Let's do it! Flirt might have missed something.
The issue is that you're not trying to improve a system which is improving itself. You're asking it to revert to a less functional model.
4. There's definitely an overtly strong tone of demand which goes beyond mere complaint, as if a site which is succeeding is doing something wrong because they aren't doing it your way. If Flirt does something I don't like, I inform them and maybe they integrate my idea, maybe they don't. It's a communication and I accept their decisions.
This No Nudity thing is like an ongoing political campaign for all 3 of you.
Conclusively ... yeah, our reaction to this arrogant, entitled approach which clings the ye olden ways is to dismiss it. Maybe it's not the best reaction but please realize you're legitimately irritating.
The SOLUTION is to have some humility and respect for the much larger audience who disagrees with your desires and demands. State what you like and what you want. Work WITH the systems Flirt provides to create an environment you like more ... and be comfortable when you hear No, like the rest of us.
Just realize that the rest of us are interested in creating an environment which suits as many people as possible. Don't turn possible allies into enemies. If your preferences can be integrated, we'll work with you to get that done, even if they're minority preferences.
