I myself, do not prefer that toy. When it first showed up I thought it looked hot. But as it has exploded on the site it lost its appeal. As some of said it looks like they are just faking the convulsions that we are supposed to believe is pleasure. Some of these models stay in party for several hours with this thing in their butt, that cant be pleasurable for that long possibly not even safe. All the party shows with the ohmibod look the same there is no unique experience. Now I look for what initially brought me to the site, a hot guy with a nice personality that wants to talk, not a silly toy just to get tips from people.

I know there is a separate area for interactive devices but I want to hear opinions from models and members.

I recently have seen an influx of male models getting this toy the Ohmibod, it seems to be the latest craze to collect a large number of tips. Is it really worth it though?
Perhaps I don't get it but what is the thrill of seeing a handsome young man shove a device up his ass and have him flop around to the noise of tips.
Don't get me wrong, I enjoy spending the time with said models and their dildos/vibrators. having that sensual moment as they take and enjoy the pleasure of penetration and the look of joy upon their faces. This toy though seems like it is for comic relief having the model flop around.

Just my opinion, from observations, but the ombibod automatically gives performers a leg up in competitions. Is this fair? It encourages rapid tipping to pleasure the performer-who wouldnt want to do that? So do competitions today judge the performer based on their performance ability or whether or not they have an omibod? This is just some thought provoking questions. It may be interesting to see a competition free of omibods. Im not passing judgement on those who use them in anyway, but are we members punishing those who dont use them?

I agree with your comments, @Jenny2830. What makes me return to the site are the personalities of the performers; talent, humor, charisma, intelligence, attractiveness. It's the "flirt" in F4F that I enjoy. The performers who have made this an art form are more and more often being ignored for the cheap thrill of the Ohmibod.

Performers have always experienced pleasure in receiving tips. The Ohmibod "supposedly" makes the pleasure more obvious. It also gives inclined members an opportunity to physically punish and humiliate the performer. Whatever a member's intentions, whatever the reality of the performer's experience while using the device, I avoid rooms displaying its use. Not my thing.

Your suggestion of having Ohmibod-free contests is genius. We could alternate. Are you listening administration?

Thank you everyone that has provided their input, I did not think this article would see so much feedback let alone see it in a newsletter.

Since first starting this thread I have seen many more models start to use the device, it has become quite popular. Typically see about 20% or more of the models displaying the banner on the front page and many more that do not. Many times you can enter a room and unexpectedly see ass with a device sticking out of it. It brings pleasure to members and models, as well as generating an income for the models. Sadly, I am still not sold on the device but that is my own choosing.

I may be wrong but I think the popularity of this device has even reduce the monitoring of Flirt regulations/policies, do they exist anymore? I see so many rooms now that when you enter the model is naked, stroking, looking for tips to fuck his ass hard, all in open chat. My observance have also seen where this leads to rooms without the devices with the models naked in open chat, having partners in solo rooms, or performing sex acts in open chat. I guess if it is okay to bend the rules having a device it is okay without one as well.

Eh, who am I to say anything but a single member among so many. This must be what members are looking for. Thank you again for all the feedback and perhaps some day I will see what draws the attention with this device.

I believe I will NEVER see what this device can bring. This is for many reasons.
(i) For once, as a woman, I am not interested to see a guy engaged in any type of ass-play. The ohmibod is way too much of that, I skip those rooms.
(ii) Secondly, I prefer to be able to chat with people and - if there is the chemistry - to discuss shows at length. It doesn't seem possible to chat with the guys who are distracted by this device or convinced I have to tip them just because they are having it in use that moment.
(iii) Thirdly, I do not derive any pleasure from watching this and I find it impossible to discuss with models using it the type of shows I like. In fact, they hardly show interest to do anything else. So I loose interest and go to people who can provide me with the shows I like to watch.

It just doesn't work for me. But I know enough guys on this site who will not get this device ever for whatever reason. I stick to those.

They provide the time to bond, discuss and prepare shows and are willing to listen and learn and grow as performers. :bulb

I am interested in artistry and on a certain level innocence. I do not find any of this with guys using the ohmibod.

I would caution you to make sure that if you are patroning an OhMiBod room that the actual unit is in place. I happened to catch a model with the logo on his page acting to the sound of tips. I won't call him out, but he knows who he is.

Being a rookie performer, I intend to protect my ASSet...The unnecessary wear and tear beyond acceptable depreciation is worrying...I enjoyed reading all the comments here...
