One often sees posting getting very intense with the messages and often getting side tracked from the original intent of the thread. Am guessing that perhaps emotions get out of control and perhaps there is some venting on the forum.
In my opinion the forum is a great place to interact with both other members and performers as well. The forum should be seen more as a message bulletin board to get the word out to others.
Might one suggest some guideline rules.

1 - Respect for everyone who posts something regardless as to you liking what they said.
2 - Consider adding a new thread if there is some special topic that you would like to talk about.
3 - Chill out with your postings ...this is a place for feed back and enjoyment.
4 - If you wish to promote a certain performer suggest you include the link to their chatroom. Makes it easier for others to check them out.
5 - While the emoticons are CUTE for heavens sake don't over use them. It is often pretty hard to read a message with so many of them in it.
6 - Get the word out about any member or viewer who tends to disrupt the chat rooms. Thankfully there seem to be few of them these days, but fact is to make a performer have a good experience on the site.
7 - If you discover a performer on the site who let just say treats his or her viewers in a very negative way take the time to let other members know this, but in a positive way. Performers like this tend not to last long anyway. Again this might be a rare event on this site.
8 - Performers don't be shy about posting comments. Always glad to see performer comments andhave to say there are a few performers who really put a lot of effort into their comments.
Well guess there is not much more to say other than to have a great time on the forum and let it flow all the way on to the site.

You have posted more than 150 topics in this forum, gofish. Many of them are repetive and many of them are rather dull, sad to say.

There is only one guideline which I think is important:

Try to make topics and posts interesting, useful and entertaining. This makes the forum interesting, useful and entertaining, and encourages more people to use it.

Once again well said Ronnie. I don't start threads often but before I do I use the search feature on the topic to see what comes up first, if it's already there it's good to add on to it. Maybe more users would use the forum if your guideline was used. :bulb

gofish, I find it interesting that you felt this particular thread was necessary, given that the guidelines you propose as rules #1, 2, 3, and 4 may all be found on the main Community Forums page:
"These forums are available for you to [2] discuss the site, our webcam performers and other topics with the entire community that enjoys Flirt4Free. Please explore, [3, 4] interact and have fun while always being [1] respectful of the other community members."

#1 and #3 are also supported on the very page used to post to threads:
"Remember, please [1] be respectful in your posts and replies. Everyone comes here [3] for entertainment, not to fight. Distasteful and/or aggressive posting could result in the removal of your posting privileges."

Content for #4 is up to the member, it should not be a guideline. If you really want the link in the thread, YOU post it in a reply, because perhaps the person who is making the comment or recommendation is unable at the time to copy-and-paste the page link into their post. I have difficulty doing that from my mobile devices; perhaps they are in the same situation.

As far as your other rules go, #6 and #7 are issues that should be addressed by Customer Service, not the forums (such posts could be deemed "Distasteful and/or aggressive"), and #8 is dependent on the performers...they will either post here or they will not.

As for #5, I admit to being surprised to see that rule there, given that in another thread someone posted a response filled with emoticons, and you posted immediately after...and said nothing about it, either on that other thread or here. I agree that overuse of emoticons makes it hard to read messages, but if you're going to tolerate it in some and not call them out on it, please don't attempt to apply that standard to everyone else.

Quite frankly, please follow your guideline rule #3 and "chill out with your postings"...as ronnie-uk said, they are repetitive.
