Honestly, I'm indifferent with it. I think it looks silly on some guys, is an interruptive toy and jumps/reactions can be hit or miss. I mean, when it comes to ass play, I am always ok with a plain dildo/vibrator

IMO OhMiBods only work best during an active party chat but I'm not a fan of Party Chat to begin with. I'll try to support a Party Chat if I see a favorite begin one but even then, I'll tend to stay quiet for the most part. On the other side, if it helps performers gather steady flow of credits, then more power to them.
