There is a specific performer on the site (who I won't mention) who is having some doubts about continuing being a performer on the site for what I believe are personal reasons.
I would just like to point out that many have enjoyed his company and if he does decide to call it a day I think he will be sorely missed.
While this thread is more or less directed at one person, it does in fact apply to other performers on the site who may be considering in taking time off from being on the site. Please give some consideration to those members who took the time to seek out their chat room. Send them a message about what you might be planning to do or better yet arrange a specific date to come online.
I do believe that by doing this both the performer and the members can have a sort of closure if you will. Many performers often just take a break from the site to recharge and attend to other things going on in their lives.
The site is bless with quite a few awesome performers and some really wacky cool members.

If it's personal best to give the model his space to decide whats best for him on his own time or terms. No need to mention this here for all to see just send email. Wise choice not mentioning name btw. :twocents

While the thread was sort of intended for a certain performer, I think it applies to all performers on the site who have attracted a special group of fans who keep returning to their rooms.
It might seem strange, but often when a performer leaves the site there is just an unfilled void for some members. Not a bromance thing, but rather members being able to connect and hangout with a very cool person.
Just my take on this and I am sure many members get what I am talking about.

Do you happen to know if f4f forwards e-mails onto models? I was under the impression the onsite e-mail system is just that -- that if the models have left the site for good then they wont see any e-mails members send to them. Some of my friends -- and yes I consider them as that -- have disappeared from the site and even their bio pages have been removed. You do wonder if they are OK.

ctr960 If their BIO page is gone then there is no way to contact them. It does help if they have twitter and are into using it.

Myelmo -- thank you for your response, but I am a little confused. I wasn't aware I'd contravened any forum rules with my question. I just wondered if inactive or retired performers eventually received their messages from members -- because if they don't there seems little point in leaving such messages, and it makes the sudden departure of some models all the more poignant.

you ok but sometime models go to other sites and sometime members have email or phone number and read fast before one of the rule making members on here have this removed

Hey Ctr, when I get an email on the site, I get an email notification sent to my regular personal email. But like elmo said, if the bio is gone, the model is gone. Models can also have their accounts deactivated by the site if they are breaking too many rules, like giving out personal info, or doing things that are prohibited on cam.

For quite sometime, I took a while off because of having to address certain personal issues that I was having for a series of unfortunate events. Now that I am back online, I feel as if that I am a little lost because things have indeed changed which a huge part of technology today. I have only been on this site for 1 year- in that one year, I was at one point ranked in the top 18% of models internationally because of my shows. I want to get back to that point and to be frank, I want to accomplish more than that.
