I hate the laziness more than the word. Seriously, baby or babe is only 2 extra letters. You're not a valley girl texting your high school boyfriend.

I used to be a model on here and I must say I never realy cared for being called baby. But it wasn't the end of the world either. Now, as a customer, I have never had a model call me baby. And, I agree with what a few of the rest of you have said......Something a grey says :twocents

As I model I prefer not to be called "BB" I would prefer a little bit of eloquence and call me "Baby" or "Babe" instead. still not really sure what BB means....

I think that it is both good and bad, as we know each other for three years, my Lance, it is better to use the member's real name but the flip side of that is I use BB sometimes with my Fav models and always use it with the new models.

I find it as irritating a s being called "mate", as people do in UK. If I want to get really friendly with a Flirt model, I am sure we can arrange our own pet names.

Personally, I like "bb" - whether it is used by members or models. I think it is very friendly, and convenient.

Most of the names used on the site are made-up screen names anyway. Some are difficult to use, and some aren't conveniently shortened. What do you do if you have a model called Prabhakar and a member called Homo_Erectus? :winkwink

Some models and members also know each other by their real names, and there can be problems about which names to use.

I know that some others have the opposite view. I remember one of Jake Trenton's excellent posts where he added "... and please don't call me bb"

I'm a newer model but so far in use bb almost strictly when referring to my "littles".

I feel like that seems appropriate when they're literally calling me daddy in return. ;-)

But outside of that, it feels pretty "I'm a heroin addled street hooker approaching Johns in a car lot.

it or use it, I find it very low class and in poor manners.... :angel
