Tonight I saw something very strange. A model on her first night here told a member that she would not get naked in private. The member has a bra fetish so he asked if she would just show her bra in private and she said no. I thought this was very strange so I was wondering if anyone has ever seen anything like this before or has a story that can beat it? I hope this model the best but I don't know if she just didn't know what she was getting into when she signed up or if she was just confused being her first night.

As far as I know no model is obligated to go nude, up to each one and they obviously must have the good sense of making it pretty clear before someone taking her pvt and the chatter should ask as well before playing stupid and lose money.

Haha, your ad hominem attack against me is very funny! I was merely commenting on the fact that a new model joins a site based mainly around fantasies and sex and refuses to take off any clothes. As much as you would like to deny it this will seriously hurt her in making money!

I have never read Penthouse, and never will. I have some personal issue against Larry Flynt from years ago so by refusing to touch his magazine, or shop at his stores, it makes me feel better.

You totally avoided the point of my posting and decided an ad hominem was the right path. To the best of my understanding you have made fun of my weight (wrong), my mental or physical health, and I think assuming I have fetishes. There are non-nude models on here. The ones I know get hour long plus pvts all the the time, and even on occasion, have made top 20 in promotional contests. Some even have their own thread

I agree with Pavel's post.. me and him both frequent a certain performers room and she is a non-nude model (and might I say it's gets terribly boring when she is away on her 3 hour privates)we like her room for all the fun we have there. Ad hominem is a logical fallacy that tries to detract from a person's argument by bringing their character into question. It is a "red herring" of sorts and using it is a form of sophistry. It is also prevalent in eristic arguments. (Uh huh, I have experience with all of this...no wikipedia or google necessary.)

Personally, I am well familiar with the concept owing to studying some logic, and aeons ago I regularly attended net debate forums, clubs, and groups as a hobby (e.g. philosophy, religion, politics). The concept was brought up quite often (along with all the other logical fallacies). In fact I regularly had to cite "argumentum ad hominem" in defense of an argument when the other person diverged into personal attacks instead of addressing the issue at hand (usually with noobs).

My point? I was delighted and surprised to see the concept being used here, at a porn site. Who woulda thunk it? Hahaha!

Also, I think Amanda was being a tad facetious with her post to you, Mork.

It looks like you went to Wikipedia to see what the definition of "ad hominem" is. Doing a search that is the only place I could find it as "to the man" or "to the person" (every other place had different wording). I suggest you continue to read the rest of the page, past the first sentence, and you will see you have committed an ad hominem.
